Dr Joy Mc Inroy is a general practitioner running a "Well Women" practice from her home in Bergvliet, Cape Town. She is, by nature, very caring and concerned about the well-being of each of her patients.

She also does weekly sessions at Groote Schuur Hospital in the Family Planning Clinic and in the Mature Women's Clinic of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This allows her access to academic medicine thereby remaining abreast of the latest developments in this field.
